EVENT: 'Taking Control of the Narrative' with Our Future

Once again we are teaming up with our partners at Our Future to bring together individuals and organisations who want to inspire and unite people and communities on the journey of positive change across Grimsby and North East Lincolnshire.

In this 1 hour introductory session, as part of the Our Future Summer Gathering, we will explore the current narrative surrounding living, working and making things happen in Grimsby and the NE Lincs area. We will explore methods and techniques that can be employed to take control and turn the narrative for the better.

In this session, attendees will have the opportunity to explore this topic through both a

collective and their own individual organisations.

We will discuss the below areas:

• Current perceptions

• Future narrative

• Using powerful language

• Use of shining lights

• Dampening the critics
